A block of rocks threatens to fall from the Exotic Garden: The Hospital Tunnel closed in both directions from July 31 to August 2

As part of the consolidation work of the Exotic Garden, it appeared that a 4T rock block threatens to detach itself from the wall and therefore requires the intervention of specialized climbers as soon as possible.

It will take place between July 31, 7:30 a.m. and August 2, 7 p.m., and will require the complete closure of car and pedestrian traffic in both directions of Boulevard de Belgique, at the level of the Hospital tunnel.

Motorists and Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco users wishing to go to the Princess Grace Hospital Center can only do so by going up Avenue Pasteur. Pedestrians will also have the possibility, from Boulevard de Belgique, to take the Revoires lift to reach Boulevard du Jardin Exotique and the Hospital lift.

Note that the parking spaces at n ° 33, 35 and 37 of Boulevard de Belgique will also be neutralized during the period.

Finally, a second phase of work aimed at reinforcing the nailing of the rocky block will require alternating traffic at the height of the tunnel, between August 3 and 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. only, with priority given to emergency vehicles.
